Janice Marie Almaroad Hinkle, age 83, of Bristol, Tenn., passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022. She was born January 1, 1939 in Blountville, Tenn., a daughter of the late Hagan and Etta Morelock Burnette. Janice was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Byron Hinkle; sister, Jean Leonard; and brother, Gary Burnette.

Survivors include her children, David Hinkle and wife Betty, Kelly Eleas and husband Chris, and Shannon Hinkle; grandchildren, Chris Eleas, II and wife Olivia, Abigail Eleas, Sarah Eleas, and Sabrina Harris and husband Toby; great grandchildren, Talliah Eleas, Alexios Eleas, Nikolas Eleas, Braden Perry, Carson Perry, and Caydee Perry; sisters, Claudette and Charlotte; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service and entombment will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2022 in the Glenwood Mausoleum with Pastor Gary Rowlette officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Weaver Funeral Home.
